Tough Night

         David and the 16 team struggled during practice saturday evening to get a handle on the car. They finally achieved a close balanced setup for the start of the race. Kilgore started on the pole, and jumped out to a small lead over the 12 car field. Then on lap 2 the steering quickner backed off of the steering shaft, causing David to lose total control of the steering. He contacted the wall on the backstretch. The crew got the problem solved, and David returned to the track to finish 7th.
